I'm not sure if this is a diet or a training question, but I haven't trained for about a year, and have got back into body building again in the past month, and don't have super high bodyfat, but I have more flabby sides then I would like. I'm trying to build muscle and am hesitant to do cardio but I want these side toned up and looking good. I'm on a high protein, moderate fat and carb diet. Any ideas?

Hi Mike,
I'd suggest you try some heavy deadlifts, squats and overhead military presses to spark new growth, particularly in the core. As for the love handles, boxing and running would be good choices, do these after your weights. Combined with a clean diet and plenty of water, I'm sure you'll see results. _________________ ''Ronnie wasn't built in a day.''

after 20 minutes of moderate exercise (anaerobic) fat becomes the main fuel. Just dont go to intense. do your sets and rest for about 2-3 minutes in between. I hurt my shoulder, and took a break. I developed love handles. not bad but when you have been able to see your abs your whole life its annoying. I started bulking gained my muscle back and lost the lovies at the same time. I just hit my abs every other day.
After being detrained its like your a beginner again. you can lose fat and gain muscle once your a beginner. You can not do this as a intermediate or advanced. _________________ We are all entitled to overcome. In training for first comp.
